The days you do not sleep well.

Working on a WaterStarters site is not just a smooth arc. There are stretches, especially around drilling, where the team is genuinely nervous. Kennedy and Jamlick describe a week of watching the drill, checking the yield, and waiting for a clear result.

What made the difference.

  • Patience with the hydrogeology, and a willingness to stop and adjust.
  • A community that stayed engaged during the wait rather than losing interest.
  • The moment the yield readings held up long enough to trust them.
There really was water at the end of the tunnel. It just took a bit longer to arrive than any of us wanted.
